CONTEXTS OF SUPPORT

Breastfeeding Support

It's not uncommon to feel like there are many challenges inhibiting you from breastfeeding, particularly for breastfeeding beyond a year. Obstacles, whatever they might be for you, can prevent you from breastfeeding as long as you had hoped. Support can help you overcome those challenges and reach the breastfeeding goal that's right for you and your child. Help can be found in a number of places. Learn more about different support systems, local resources, and find the support that best fits your needs.

TESTIMONIALS

“Breastfeeding is an instinctual and natural act, but it is also an art that is learned day by day. The reality is that almost all women can breastfeed, have enough milk for their babies and learn how to overcome problems both large and small. It is almost always simply a matter of practical knowledge and not a question of good luck."
